Prescott Valley Weather

Founded in 1966, Prescott Valley is centrally located in Arizona at an elevation of 5100 ft.  Like Prescott, it has a moderate four season climate.  The surrounding terrain consists of grasslands, pinion and juniper and hills with boulder formations and canyons.  Daytime mountain breezes keeps the area from reaching the scorching high temperatures of the low lying areas in Arizona.  Summer evenings produce spectacular sunsets and a delightful coolness to the end of the day.  Prescott Valley has a short winter with the occasional snow which typically melts off in a matter of hours. Each season is pleasant with enough variation to make the weather interesting and always with the ever present sunshine averaging 300 days a year!
